DESIGNING PERFECTION

In Landscape Architecture, we understand the importance of the planning involved in performing a redesign or development of a green space. This includes all outdoor areas, parks, sports fields, estates, complexes and recreational facilities, public spaces and gardens. Our main objective is to create environmentally and socially intact living environments

Mr Bongumusa Goba was employed in June 2010 by Green Earth Landscapes where he started as a driver. He immediately showed potential and was identified as a potential candidate for further growth within the company.

COMPANY TRAINING

Green Earth Landscapes’ employees are inducted into the company through a detailed Induction course, covering requirements and certain standards expected from both parties.

In-house training is offered annually by our Senior Horticulturist, Kate Johnson.  Fikile Mhlongo is our junior horticulturist who is responsible for standards on-site and is involved in training. SEESA is our accredited facility for skills development and equity employment plans. Their courses are attended by our employees regularly.

Training covers beginners and advanced gardening, machine operator skills, and safe operating procedures as well as supervision and team leadership. Health and safety are covered as required in the OSH Act and PPE standards are also monitored on every site. Training aims at continuous improvement within the company and is provided to improve individual and group performance.

Workshop forums are held monthly with all involved and are site-specific. SALI offers training in various disciplines and we, as Green Earth Landscapes, participate in any opportunities offered as we possibly can.
